Tran Am Bike Nonstop
Trans Am Bike Nonstop
A race originating in Astoria, Oregon and traveling non-stop across the entire continental United States to Washington DC/Yorktown Virginia. This premier self-supported race passes through Prineville, Oregon and Good Bike Co.’s doorstep along the TransAmerica Trail. Racers pass sporadically, so come out, hang out, and cheer on these brave cyclists. The race starts on Sunday, June 1 at 6 AM in Astoria with lead cyclists expected to pass through Prineville sometime Monday morning into the evening.

Join us on during our Crook County chapter meeting for our Trail Maintenance 101 presented by yours truly, Alex Brieger (COTA Trails Program Director)!
This is an introduction to who COTA is, the work we do, and how we do that work. If you have never done trail work, only been out a couple times, or even a trained Crew Leader this presentation is for you. This will be a brief overview of topics and at the end we will cover next steps to getting involved as well as non-trail work opportunities.
All are welcome! No experience needed. Grab a friend! We will have beverages available.
